My Babies
I was pleasantly surprised with hugs all around when I woke up this morning. The boys were so excited to give me the presents that they had made that I didn't even have time to sit! Ryan drew a lovely picture of him and I. So cute!

Drew made a little book in preschool that had facts about me (according to Drew I have blue eyes and red hair!). My favorite excerpt from this book is the fill in the blank part.
My Mom Thinks I'm Good At... giving her a coconut.
(Wow! I sure do love when Drew gives me coconuts! So funny!)
When I Grow Up My Mom Wants Me To Be A... just stay little.
(Melts my heart because Drew never wants to grow up.)
I Want To Tell My Mom...I love her very much.
(I love him too.)

Liv ran up to me and gave me a big hug with no prompting from anyone. That is perfect!

I love being a mom and couldn't ask for anything more!
Happy Mother's Day to Me!

To All You Wonderful Mothers!
Happy Mother's Day one and all! Even if you are veteran, brand new, or someday mother's bless you!
I love being a mom. I have many things to work on but one thing I know for sure is that my kids KNOW I love them.
Marjorie Pay Hinckley couldn't have said it better!
"I don't want to drive up to the pearly gates in a shiny sports car, wearing beautifully, tailored clothes, my hair expertly coiffed, and with long, perfectly manicured fingernails.
I want to drive up in a station wagon that has mud on the wheels from taking kids to scout camp. I want to be there with a smudge of peanut butter on my shirt from making sandwiches for a sick neighbors children. I want to be there with a little dirt under my fingernails from helping to weed someone's garden. I want to be there with children's sticky kisses on my cheeks and the tears of a friend on my shoulder. I want the Lord to know I was really here and that I really lived."

Good Riddance April
The month of April is one that I'm glad is over with! I seemed to be stressed out the entire month!
Now that everything is all right I'll let you know about Liv. I was at work when I got a call from Nick who tells me he just experienced the scare of his life! He said he had changed Liv's diaper and when she stood up she was staring intently up at the ceiling. He thought that was kinda cute so he went to the other room to get the video camera. When he came back in she was lying on her back over his weights and had a blank look on her face just blinking at the ceiling. (I saw the video when I got home and am still haunted by it!)
He picks her up and runs to our neighbors who is a firefighter but they aren't home. By this time her face is blue. He calls 911 and while he is on the phone she wakes up and throws up on him. He hangs up with 911 thinking she is ok. Then he calls me and I book it home.
When I get home I pick her up and notice her feet and fingers are blue. Knowing something still wasn't right we rush her over to Instacare. They take her straight back and tell us that she has a 104 fever and we need to go to the ER now.
We rush to the ER and thankfully my parents come to help take care of the boys.
Liv was amazing as they did all the tests on her including an EKG, Cat scan, blood, and urine sample. In the end they decided that she had a febrile seizure due to a spike in temp. They are pretty common but no less scary!!
Thankfully she is just fine! The boys were pretty traumatized from seeing their sister like that. I'm just glad everyone is back to normal.
