Ode to 25

Today is Nick's 25th birthday! Nick is the greatest husband, father, and friend. I really am spoiled by having him in my life these past 7 years. I love you Nick and want this to be a special occasion not "just another day".

Oh Man!

Being a mom I feel underqualified in all aspects but one that I feel that I'm getting better at is late nights with sick kids and a baby. Last night Drew kept waking up screaming telling me that his tummy hurt. So while sitting with him and feeding Liv it was quite the night. Then today Drew is still complaining about a hurting tummy and now it's moved to his ears. Ryan also is sick and had his first accident in quite a few months! It was so sad because I didn't have any underwear to change him into and so I put a diaper on him until we got home. He looks at me with tears in his eyes and asks me if this makes him a baby again. It was so sweet and yet so sad! He's far too sensitive for his own good. Well let's just hope tonight goes a little better!

Did you hear the news?? Since Mr. Potter is taking a break until next July the Edward and Bella story gets to be released 3 weeks early!! November 21st is the new date for Twilight!! I'm so excited! (Yes I plan my date nights 3 months in advance)

What a Saturday!

We went to the Washington County Fair Parade to start off our morning! This is Liv's first parade and this sweet couple sitting next to us helped document the momentous occasion!



Our boys were the only little kids in our little area and so all of the floats threw TONS of candy their way! They had so much fun running out in the street to pick it up that they didn't even have a chance to think of eating it. This is our stash of candy and other goods including a shirt, umbrella, frisbee's, footballs and otter pops! Crazy parade!



To finish off the day I took the boys to the Demolition Derby with Keena and Malea. Nick took Liv to watch the UFC fight at his friends house. It was a fun night but not the best Demo Derby I've seen.



This is Ryan's excited Derby face! He loved watching the cars crash and decided that's what he wants to do when he's older. A mothers dream let me tell you!

Happy 5 Years

5 years ago today I got to marry my best friend. Marrying Nick was the greatest thing I have done followed closely by having his children. He is an amazing husband, father, provider, and friend. I love you Nick and here is to many more wonderful years of being together!!
